More than 30 hotels have signed up to the internal tourism incentive plan for families to take their vacations, as published by the Ministry of Tourism ( Mitur ).
Offers start at $ 65 per night per person, depending on the hotel.
The tourist destination that has the most hotel adhered to the domestic tourism plan is Punta Cana; followed by La Romana, Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo.
While the banking institutions through which internal tourism plans can be financed are Banreservas and Banco Popular
